Visit to CNBM Southern Cement Shanya Plant
Transport: included in conference ticket.
The Shanya plant employs a range of state of the art technologies and has excellent operating efficiencies (SHC 2.77 Gj/t, clinker SPC 42 kwh/t, clinker 28 day strength 60). The company won several China national awards for Safety Culture, Environmental Protection and Green Quarry. The six stage low pressure preheater gives C1 outlet temperature <260℃. Raw meal preparation uses automatic mixing and achieves KFUI<8. The plant uses a range of digital systems including digital quarry, kiln and mill expert system, intelligent lab and intelligent safety management system.

Transport: Flight from Hangzhou to Wuhan and hotel in Wuhan is not included in conference ticket. Other transfers are included. Transfer from airport to hotel on May 19.The 14,000 tpd Huangshi plant was designed to burn 3,500 tpd of MSW. The plant uses MSW as a fuel and an alternative RM which helps to give very low carbon and low NOx. Potassium Chloride salts are produced from bypass ash.
