Who can become a member of World Cement Association? Membership is open to companies, not-for-profit organisations and individuals with a stake in the future of cement, clinker and related materials.


The majority of our members are cement producers, ranging from the world's largest companies, with capacities of 540 mt pa, to some of the smallest, with capacities of 0.5 mt pa. We also represent companies across the wider value chain, including specialist engineering firms, equipment suppliers and technology providers and regional associations and not for profits.


We have 4 types of WCA Membership:


Corporate Members: are cement or clinker manufacturers. Corporate Member applicants shall nominate a natural person to represent them together with an alternate. The Corporate Member representatives must be at senior level, Chairman, CEO, General Manager or have top level responsibility for the member company or its cement division. Our membership fees for corporate members are based on your organization cement production capacity per annum, so there are a range fees. Associate Corporate Members: are companies from associated industries e.g., engineering companies, main equipment manufacturer, construction materials producers, admixture manufacturers, concrete and manufacturers, trading companies, technology start-ups, industry consultancy services and any further categories that may be defined by the Board. Our membership fees for associate corporate members are based on your industry type or service, so there are a range fees. Please select the membership level application form appropriate to your industry.


Individual Members: Any of the WCA company type members can apply for additional individual members for their personnel. Other applicants may be eligible for individual membership provided their organisation could not otherwise fit the requirements above, for example technical consultants. We also invite individual fellow membership applications from academic or industry professionals. Please select the membership level application form appropriate to you (individual or fellow)


Affiliate Members: We welcome applications from not-for-profit organisations related to the objectives of the WCA e.g., regional or national cement associations and other related industry associations, and any further categories that may be defined by the Board. Applicants shall nominate a natural person from your organisations council, board or committee to represent them together with an alternate. Please select the application form appropriate to your organization, our affiliate membership is free but must be a not for profit or professional body.

Contact information (including email) should be provided for the organisation's primary representative or individual member. For organisations/companies, this should be at senior level, Chairperson, CEO, General Manager, or someone with top level responsibility for the member company in line with WCA AoA.

Terms:

All membership prices are based on 1 year's annual membership subscription. All prices are exclusive of VAT (currently 20%). VAT is applied to members from UK. If you are situated in the EU or UK, please provide your EU or UK VAT number. VAT/TAX is not applicable to membership from outside UK. All applications will be processed once the payment is cleared. In case application is not approved your payment will be refunded. An invoice will be issued to you on submission of your completed application form.

  • WCA Fellow Individual Membership

    Individual Fellow: This membership category is for academics and professionals who have worked for many years either in the cement industry or on cement industry related work. To qualify as a fellow, the applicant should be recognised for a specific field of expertise or as an industry leader.
